Afghanistan beats New Zealand by 84 runs in T20 World Cup match.

Afghanistan secured a historic 84-run victory against New Zealand in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.The spin-rich Afghan team dominated the match, with Rashid Khan and Farooqi leading the bowling attack to restrict New Zealand to a low total.

The current captain of the Afghanistan national cricket team in One Day International (ODI) and Test cricket is Hashmatullah Shahidi. For T20Is, the captaincy is held by Rashid Khan.
