Ajit Pawar said:There is no alternative to PM Modi in politics 
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ajit Pawar said, ”Today, there is no alternative to him in the country as well as in the world. We have to make him the Prime Minister for the third time. He works 18 hours a day. He has a vision. Under his leadership, several development works are being completed. Foreign investment in the country has gone up. Maharashtra will benefit from his vision of development,” he said.
The Deputy Chief Minister said, ”…We had adopted a policy for women. We need to make some changes in it as per the changing times. In 2012, we had adopted a policy for youth. We work in a democracy and we should support youth. Our district presidents should not expect too much from their juniors. When we admit an individual in our party, we should not consider their castes. When I was young, I accepted new responsbilities and that is the reason why I reached this stage.”
Ajit Pawar said in 2004, NCP could have had its chief minister. ”But everyone knows what happened at that time. Now, hold on for sometime, don’t clamour for chief minister’spost for me…People are joining our party, we need to win their confidence.We have to work for the people at the grassroot level.
”
Taking a dig at his uncle Sharad Pawar, Ajit Pawar said, “Our party leaders and workers had problems, but our varisht (seniormost) leader never tried to understand them. And that is why I had to take this decision (of splitting the party)…One has to take decisions fearlessly..We joined the Mahayuti so that we could provide employment to youths,” he said.
