Kangana Ranaut at the Chandigarh airport. According to reports, she was allegedly slapped by a woman constable of the CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) during a security check. The constable, Kulwinder Kaur, suggested that her actions were linked to a statement Ranaut had made about women joining the farmers’ protest. In response, Ranaut stated that she was “abused and hit on the face” by the CISF staff during the security check and that she would file a complaint with the Ministry of Home Affairs. The CISF suspended the constable, initiated a departmental inquiry, and lodged a police complaint against her. The incident occurred when Ranaut was at the Chandigarh airport to board a flight for Delhi. It’s a concerning situation, and investigations are ongoing to determine what transpired between the two individuals
“The incident happened at the security check-in. The woman guard waited for me to cross. She then came and hit me… started throwing expletives. I asked (her) why she hit me. She said, ‘I support farmers’. I am safe… but my concern is terrorism is rising in Punjab. How do we handle that?” she said in her message
