  • Admit Card Availability: The NEET UG 2024 admit cards are now available for download on the official websites exams.nta.ac.in and neet.ntaonline.in.
  • Exam Date: The NEET UG 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, May 5, 2024 .
  • Languages: The exam will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu .

Here are some important instructions to keep in mind for the NEET exam day:

  1. Reporting Time: Arrive at the exam center well in advance. The reporting time will be mentioned on your admit card. Latecomers may not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
  2. Admit Card and ID Proof: Carry a printed copy of your NEET UG 2024 Admit Card along with a valid photo ID (such as Aadhar card, passport, or driver’s license). Make sure the details on your admit card match your ID proof.
  3. Dress Code: Wear light-colored, half-sleeve clothes with no big buttons, brooches, or badges. Avoid wearing shoes; instead, opt for sandals or slippers. Follow the dress code guidelines provided by NTA.
  4. Items Allowed: You can carry only the following items:
    • Admit Card
    • Valid ID proof
    • Passport-sized photograph (same as the one uploaded during the application process)
    • PwD certificate (if applicable)
    • Face mask and hand sanitizer (in a transparent bottle)
  5. Prohibited Items: Do not bring the following items:
    • Stationery (pen, pencil, eraser, etc.) – these will be provided at the exam center
    • Electronic devices (mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, etc.)
    • Bags, wallets, or any other personal belongings
    • Any written or printed material
  6. Security Check: There will be thorough frisking and document verification at the entrance. Follow the instructions of the security personnel.
  7. Seating Arrangement: You will be assigned a seat. Check your roll number and seat number on the notice board. Sit at your allotted place only.
  8. Question Paper and OMR Sheet: You will receive the question paper and OMR sheet. Fill in your details correctly on the OMR sheet.
  9. Exam Duration: The NEET UG 2024 exam duration is 3 hours. Manage your time wisely for all three subjects – Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  10. Marking Scheme:
    • Correct answer: +4 marks
    • Incorrect answer: -1 mark
    • Unanswered: 0 marks
  11. Breaks: There are no scheduled breaks during the exam. Use the restroom before entering the hall.
  12. COVID-19 Precautions:
    • Maintain social distancing.
    • Wear a mask at all times.
