Amol Kale (1976/1977 – 10 June 2024)

He was a cricket administrator and the president of the Mumbai Cricket Association.

He also served as the former BJP ward president for Abhyankar Nagar, Nagpur.

 Kale was born to Kishor Kale and his family had associations with the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh.

He attended Saraswati Vidyalaya in Shankar Nagar, Nagpur, where coincidentally, Devendra Fadnavis (the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra) also studied in same

His grandfather, Malhar Kale, was an MLC and the founder of Nutan Bharat Vidyalay in Abhyankar Nagar Nagpur.

He was also appointed as a member of the Tiruputi Balaji Devasthan Trust in Andhra Pradesh for three consecutive terms

Amol Kale died on 10 June 2024 in New York City due to a cardiac arrest, shortly after watching a cricket match between India and Pakistan1

His untimely demise was a loss to the cricket community, and he was known as a close aide of Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis2
